ABOUT RICK HIEBERT

Rick Hiebert is an amateur photographer residing in Morden, Manitoba. He specializes in photos of outdoor action activity, landscapes, and wildlife. Rick was born and raised on a small mixed farm near Lowe Farm, Manitoba, Canada. He has a true passion for animals and the great outdoors. His hobby of photography began twenty years ago when he excelled primarily at wildlife photography. In 1994 his work was recognized by Ducks Unlimited Canada when he received Honorable Mention in an open, coast-to-coast photo competition. The following year he won 1st Place in the Waterfowl category as well as Honorable Mention in two other categories. Rick has enjoyed his career as a police officer for 24 years and is currently serving as the Chief of Police for the Winkler Police Service.
